HSH Madness Contest – Official Terms & Conditions

 

1. Contest Overview

The HSH Madness Contest (“Contest”) is a promotional giveaway hosted by Hashstoria Newark (“Hashstoria”) to reward our loyal customers and celebrate the 4/20 season. Participants will have the chance to win exclusive prizes, including the grand prize of Free Weed for a Year, culminating in a winner announcement during our 4/20 Weekend Celebration Event at Hashstoria Newark.

 

2. Eligibility

To be eligible to enter and win:

  • Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Participants must sign up via the HSH Madness website, which serves as the RSVP list for Hashstoria’s 4/20 Weekend Celebration.
  • Participants must make at least one qualifying cannabis purchase at Hashstoria Newark between March 28 and April 17, 2025. This includes:
    • In-store purchases
    • Online orders for in-store pickup
    • Hashstoria Delivery orders
  • Only purchases made during this period qualify for entry.

3. How to Enter

  • Visit the HSH Madness website and sign up to join the RSVP list for Hashstoria’s 4/20 Weekend Celebration.
  • Make a qualifying cannabis purchase (in-store, online pickup, or delivery) at Hashstoria Newark between March 28 and April 17, 2025.
  • Each qualifying purchase equals one entry into the HSH Madness contest.
  • Only one daily purchase counts as a qualifying purchase. However, making a qualifying purchase across multiple days results in multiple entries.
  • Entry is automatic once the purchase is completed and the participant is on the RSVP list.

4. Contest Period

  • Start Date: Friday, March 28, 2025
  • End Date: Thursday, April 17, 2025
  • Winner Announcement: Winners will be announced during Hashstoria’s 4/20 Weekend Celebration Event.

5. How to Play / Winner Selection

  • Entries are based on eligibility and participation. No game or skill-based activity is required.
  • Hashstoria will randomly select winners from the pool of eligible participants who have joined the RSVP list and made qualifying purchases.
  • Participants with multiple qualifying purchases will have a higher chance of winning due to additional entries.
  • Winners will be announced during the 4/20 Weekend Celebration Event at Hashstoria Newark.
  • Winners are not required to be present at the event to win. They will be contacted using the information provided at signup.

6. Prizes

  • Grand Prize: Free Weed for a Year
    • We will give you a gift card and 52 pennies. This sounds ridiculous, but so are most cannabis laws and regulations. 
    • Your gift card entitles you to receive one (1) eighth of cannabis (3.5g) per week for 52 weeks for a penny each week (that’s why the 52 pennies are a component).
    • The strain or product will be selected by Hashstoria. No substitutions.
    • The winner must pick up the weekly prize in-store. Missed pickups will not roll over.
  • Additional runner-up prizes will be awarded and will be announced at Hashstoria’s discretion.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value.

7. Notification & Claiming Prizes

  • Winners will be announced live during the 4/20 Weekend Celebration Event.
  • Winners will also be contacted by Hashstoria via the email or phone number provided at the time of sign-up.
  • Winners must present valid government-issued ID when claiming their prize.
  • Prizes must be claimed within a reasonable timeframe after notification or they may be forfeited.

8. General Conditions

  • Hashstoria reserves the right to change, modify, or cancel the Contest or any aspect of it at any time without prior notice.
  • Hashstoria reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.
  • Any attempt to manipulate or tamper with the Contest or entry process will result in disqualification.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Hashstoria assumes no liability for failure to deliver prizes due to business closure, changes in law, inventory limitations, or circumstances beyond its control.
  • Hashstoria is not responsible for technical issues, system errors, or other disruptions affecting entry or notification.
  • If for any reason Hashstoria is unable to fulfill the advertised prizes, Hashstoria is under no obligation to substitute or continue fulfillment.

10. Privacy

  • Information collected through the HSH Madness website will be used to administer this contest and to communicate about Hashstoria’s 4/20 Weekend Celebration as well as information on future Hashstoria events and promotions.
  • Your personal information will not be sold or shared outside of Hashstoria and its authorized partners.
